At Catalyst Construction, our in-house, cutting-edge 3D modeling for construction sets us apart from competitors in the industry. By leveraging advanced BIM tools like Revit, Navisworks, and Procore, we bring a new level of clarity, collaboration, and efficiency to every project.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) isn’t just about creating 3D models – it’s about ensuring that every structural, mechanical, and architectural element works together seamlessly. Our in-house BIM team coordinates all aspects of a project, combining Revit and CAD files into one comprehensive 3D model. This allows us to identify and resolve potential issues, like mechanical, electrical, or plumbing (MEP) clashes, before construction begins.
We use BIM as a proactive solution to reduce change orders, avoid delays, and ensure your vision is realized with precision and efficiency.
At Catalyst Construction, we specialize in complex projects, which benefit significantly from 3D construction modeling, especially when the projects have tight timelines or intricate designs. By visualizing projects in a 1:1 scale, we empower you to see every detail before breaking ground.

Our 3D modeling capabilities have proven invaluable for resolving complex issues during construction.
The small ceiling space in Wesleyan University’s digital design studio at 301 High Street required meticulous coordination of mechanical and structural elements. By building a 3D model, we identified and resolved clashes, such as an air duct interfering with a camera setup, well before construction began, eliminating the need for costly change orders down the line.
This residence hall was initially designed in 2D, leading to numerous MEP “collisions.” Our in-house BIM team worked to build a 3D model from scratch in Revit, which allowed for the seamless coordination of construction going forward. Because this project was for student housing, it had to be completed on a tight timeline, before the start of the academic year. By employing our 3D modeling capabilities, we were able to identify issues up front and avoid timely rework during the construction phase.
At Catalyst, 3D modeling isn’t just a technical advantage; it’s a way to provide you with better service. By integrating BIM into our workflow, we offer you:
Whether you are constructing a healthcare facility, corporate office, or university building, our 3D modeling process helps ensure that you feel confident in the final outcome.
